Welcome!
The Fond du Lac County Kennel Club was established in January, 1975 by a merger
of the Fond du Lac Dog Club and the Lakeside Kennel Club. It was then recognized
by the American Kennel Club as a Club of Record in September, 1975.
The Fond du Lac County Kennel Club hold it's membership meetings the first Tuesday
of each month at 7:30 P.M. at the Club House. The club attempts to present programs of interest
to all dog owners and exhibitors. The public is always invited to attend.
Where is it?
The clubhouse is located on the corner of Reinhardt Road and DeNeveu
Lane in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
Where is that? Get driving directions to the Fond du Lac County Kennel Club courtesy of Yahoo.com. If you're used
to coming to the clubhouse a particular way, be aware that the Hwy 151 Bypass has
changed things a bit.

Conformation Classes will be starting on Wednesday nights again at the Cow palace at the fairgrounds in Fond du Lac at 7:30PM on January 14th, 2009. At that time I will teach and you will be able to sign up for a 6 week course that starts on Wednesday January 21st,2009 and runs thru Feb 25th,2009. I have Geri Gerstner Hart hired to teach this 6 week course and she is a professional handler and breeder and has been in the dog world showing since she was 10 years old. She has showed dogs at Westminster many times. She belongs to the Dpg Handler's Guild and has AKC Junior Showmanship judge's license. She has also obtained UKC all breed judging license. She has bred English Cockers, Golden Retrievers, and Schipperke's. I think this will be a fun and informative class and you will get help with any problems you are needing to fix. The cost is $40.00 for members and $50.00 for non-members. You can contact Debbie Myrechuck with any questions or to sign up. dmelite@hotmail.com or 920-923-3862.

New Conformation Class! Starting February 27th we will have Dale Hafner teaching the class for a intense 6 week course. This is definitely for people who are interested in showing their dog in the conformation ring. The classes have to be paid for upfront for the 6 weeks and the cost is $40.00 for members of the club and $50.00 for non-members. The class is still held on Wednesday nights and is at the Fond du Lac Fairgrounds Cow Palace from 7:30PM to 8:30PM. The dates are Feb 27th, Mar 5th, Mar 19th, April 2nd, April 9th, April 16th. The dates skip around because the building is not available to us on March 12th and March 26th. Any cancellations due to weather and we will have that Wednesday added on in the end of April. You will need to sign up for the class and pay the fee by Feb 25th so we will know if we will have enough people to make it worth having. I am looking at getting at least 10 people. To sign up contact Deborah Myrechuck PH: 920-923-3862. or e-mail dmelite@hotmail.com

6/5/2006 We have our own domain! No more ads!
Hooray!
The look and feel has changed a lot more than I had planned with the transition.
Michelle Tennis created and maintained the original Geocities site (Thank you Michelle!),
but it was easier to build new formatting than strip out all the Frontpage and Geocities
code. I've tried to move all the original content over. If you can't
find something that used to be on the site, let me know and I'll add it back in.
The appearance of the site is definitely a work in progress. I'm aware that it looks funky in Firefox. Please just use MS Explorer for now. It will get fixed. If you have suggestions,
I'd like to hear them!
Upcoming Events
The next big event is the Spring Show in April 2009. Jeanne Nonhof is the show chair. The Spring Show includes Conformation and Obedience at the county fairgrounds, and there's a 1-day Agility Trial on the clubhouse grounds as well.
